So many of us sitting behind little computer screens hoping to find that one thing that's missing. That one thing that will make everything okay. And just when you think you've found it, another hurricane strikes and you're back to square one.

What can be sadder than wanting to stay back at work because there's nothing and no one to go home to. Except that bottle of beer in the fridge.

A song. For someone who's brought me so much joy these past months. She may never be the one waiting to greet me when I get home after a hard day at work, but I know she will always be that bottle of beer in the fridge.
And perhaps that's all I really need.

i thought you have your guitar, books and music to turn to, besides the beer in the fridge:-)
have my lonely phases too, and the loneliest moment for me is when you open the door to your flat/house after coming back from the office, and you find that no one's there. on some days, it used to drive me crazy.
i've never felt lonely on weekends though, as i always find someone to sit, talk and drink with. marriage may sound threatening or boring, but a woman helps a lot too, especially a woman you love. and i have never been single for a long long time, so it helps:-)))
cheer up swb, put on some cheerful alternative rock, switch the beer for rum or vodka, and try to get the hell out of your mumbai for a few days!!!
what i figure is, you have: -
1. a fridge
2. cold beer
3. a house containing the fridge and the cold beer
4. a job which lets you keep the house, the fridge and the cold beer.
5. a space to write about the fridge, the cold beer, the house and the job.
see? five perfectly good reasons to not be completely despondent. and the loneliness can be effectively dispelled by cartoon network. late night cartoons are very good. try them sometimes. they're funnier with beer, i think.
Saltwater turns blue. Take off your blue sunglass, you might see past the beer. Can't tell you how, i'm wearing it too!
